HE'S OVER THE TOP!by Annette Houdek

MXJ. ORBIT says: "I feel the need for speed!" Orbit came to live with me at 9 weeks of age. He was my pick
of 3 boys and although the others were just as beautiful, he stood out because
he was very curious when I did the puppy test. Dropping my keychain only
startled him enough to stop running around and look at where that interesting
noise was coming from. He was not afraid of anything. He is exactly what an
Agility competition dog should be.
Through the early months we played while he learned all of the basic commands needed to eventually run an obstacle course. Everything was a game to him. He started showing in breed at 6 months of age and took Winners dog at 7 months old with a 3pt major. He owned the breed ring, and finished his championship very early. He went around the ring on a loose lead, just like the big dogs with his head held high. Orbit starting showing in Agility when he was 1 year old. He zipped right through the Novice and Open Courses. Within 1 1/2 years of showing he has managed to achieve his Masters Agility title with numerous 1st places. He shows in Agility in the United Kennel club as well, and is almost finished with his Agility Trial Championship. His obedience career has already produced a Companion Dog title in UKC and AKC, as well as a Companion Dog Excellent Title.
Orbit is very enthusiastic about anything we do and we look forward to continuing a long and winning career in Agility and Obedience. Submitted by Annette Houdek
